We have some exciting news!!
Pennsylvania Tennis Academy would like to welcome Dana Kantz and Christine Ford as PTA’s new Pickleball Directors!!
Dana has over 5 years experience as a pickleball program coordinator organizing and running pickleball social mixers, round robins, leagues, mini tournaments, and team building events. Since becoming an Ambassador for the U.S.Amatuer Pickleball Association (USAPA) in 2018, she has volunteered many hours promoting and growing the sport of pickleball in her community and surrounding areas.
Chris has been playing racquet sports since her junior tennis days in Atlanta, where she went on to play for the University of Georgia. In 2018, she entered her first pickleball tournament and hasn't touched a tennis racket since. Chris competes in pickleball tournaments all over the country and has won medals in both Mixed and Women’s Doubles. Chris is a Level 2 IPTPA and PPR certified instructor.
As our Pickleball Directors, Chris & Dana will be introducing a variety of pickleball events this year to meet your needs, including Round Robins, Social Mixers, In-House Leagues, and more!
Please join us the week of October 2, 2023, to kick off our indoor season and to meet Dana and Chris! We will be hosting special events throughout the week, with courts still available to book for play. There will be something for everyone! YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS!
